Reach the height of your potential - build your professional energy industry and sustainability skills

Effective Energy Management

This course is for those serious about helping their mid to large sized organization use less and less energy, continually reducing their carbon footprint and energy costs. Drawing on 20 years experience in working with corporations and governments in over 10 countries, your trainer will show you what works, and what doesn’t, and how to adopt a systematic approach to reducing your energy use. Increase your impact by saving more energy, more money and more CO2 by attending this course.

In 2011 the Fifth Annual Global Energy Efficiency Survey, found that “Organizations that set a reduction goal, analyze energy data frequently, add internal or external resources, and use external financing were found to implement four times as many improvement measures as those who did none.”

2011 was also the year in which ISO 50001, Energy Management Systems: Requirements with Guidance for Use, was first published, with the aim of helping organizations improve their energy productivity by developing an energy management policy, identifying how much energy they use, setting targets, developing action plans, and resourcing their energy management activities. Organisation’s which have a systematic approach to energy management, aka ISO 50001, are much more likely to realise the benefits of energy efficiency.
